PSVR Sales Now at Over 900, 000 Sold Through

While Sony hasn’t been coy in saying that the PlayStation VR is a commercial success, the company has now given the gaming public an exact number. In a press release, Sony Interactive Entertainment announced that PSVR sales numbers are now at over 915,000 sold worldwide as of February 19, 2017. Note that the 915,000 figure is “sold through,” which means sold and not shipped. Given how hard it is to find PSVR units for sale in various parts of the world up to this day, that figure isn’t really that surprising. In addition to that impressive sales figure, Sony has also mentioned that there are over 100 new PSVR experiences set to be released in 2017. Andrew House, President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment: Since its October launch, PS VR continues to be well received by people around the world thanks to the high quality, revolutionary VR experience it offers. With more than 53.4 million PS4 units sold through globally we firmly believe PlayStation VR will take the lead position in the VR market. We are increasing production to meet demand and will continuously support content developers as they create innovative VR experiences that are only READ FULL…

Weapons aren’t the only things that can decimate enemies, of course. There are different kind of abilities available to cater to every play style. Finally, the video gives us a quick look at Andromeda’s mobility system that’s a big departure from the old games in the franchise. This time, players will be able to hover, dash to the side and evade. Additionally, the official BioWare Twitter account has tweeted that Mass Effect Andromeda…

Persona 5 Velvet Room Detailed in Latest Trailer

[embedded content] If you’re a Persona fan, then chances are you’re familiar with the game’s “Velvet Room”. Now, for those who aren’t familiar with it, the Persona 5 Velvet Room is where collected personas can be upgraded, turned into items and more. Check out the trailer above and there’s also the official description straight from the press release below, too. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Velvet Room, it’s a special area where personas can be… played around with. Basically, the room is where personas collected in the Metaverse can be upgraded, turned into items, or undergo fusion. Let’s start with the most morbid one, shall we? Fusion allows personas to be fused together to create a new, hopefully stronger, one. There are three ways to fuse personas, basic fusion lets any two be fused together, while advanced fusion is preset and require three or more. Oh, there is one little thing I should mention. Your personas will need to be executed via guillotine to undergo the aforementioned fusions, so always remember their noble sacrifice when Velvet Room wardens, Caroline and Justine, lets the blade drop (be wary of accidents though). The third method of fusion READ…

Shards of Darkness benefits from a larger production and better realization, with a story supplemented by cutscenes in which Styx expresses his trademark wit and snark – get a sneak peek at his sarcastic, fourth wall breaking humor in this video!
