Destiny Age of Triumph Weekly Rituals Teased

[embedded content] Bungie has revealed a few details on Age of Triumph, its upcoming major content update for Destiny, including details on the game’s new weekly rituals through its latest blog post and its recent livestream. According to the blog post and stream, the Age of Triumph update will begin by speaking to the Speaker to get a new quest. The quest unlocks access to the Age of Triumph content which include new Weekly Rituals. The Weekly Rituals will consist of weekly story missions, Challenge of the Elders, Crucible, the return of Nightfall strikes, and more. The new content includes a new set of Weekly Featured Activities from The Director, new Daybreak Strikes that also include the Mayhem modifier from the Crucible. Additionally, during the event, players will also be able to collect up to three Evererse boxes each week. There will also be new quests from the Speaker covering all of the game’s content areas including story missions, Strikes, Patrols, and PVP. Two new weekly bounties may also be accepted from Lord Shaxx. The Age of Triumph will be released on March 28 and will be the last major content update for Destiny before Bungie launches the game’s sequel…

Destiny Designers Detail Age of Triumph Weekly Activities

Destiny’s final update, Age of Triumph, is a little less than two weeks away from release and senior designers Tim Williams and Joe Sifferman as well as community manager David “Deej” Dague went on the Bungie livestream to talk about the game’s weekly activities will change with the update. First off, the new update will introduce Treasure of Ages chests where players will be able to get armor, weapons, and other limited items from throughout the game’s life, including limited armor sets and seasonal items. Players will also be able to break down the items they receive from Treasure of Ages chests and use the silver dust collected to purchase the specific items they want from the chests through the silver dust story, which will be greatly expanded with the update. Treasure of Ages chests can be collected via a number of ways including through Tess Everis at the Eververse Trading Company store. Players can also collect Treasure of Ages chests from the weekly activities that Age of Triump will introduce including a new 12-step quest from The Speaker, a new weekly story playlist, through the regular Siva Crisis Heroic playlist, and the new Crucible option, among others. Destiny Age of Triumph Livestream Happening on Wednesday

[embedded content] Destiny fans, the game’s time in the spotlight is almost up, and Bungie is marking that occasion with Destiny’s Age of Triumph live event; the last live update Destiny 1 era content that’s set to launch later this month. To whet gamers’ appetites, Bungie is hosting a livestream for Age of Triumph this coming March 15, Wednesday, at 10 a.m. PT. It will feature Bungie Senior Designers, Tim Williams and Joe Sifferman, and is called “Rituals and Strikes.” I’ll leave it up to you to guess what will be shown during the livecast. You can watch the Destiny Age of Triumph livestream on Bungie’s Twitch channel, or the livestream tune-in video here. Destiny Will Come To An End With T-Shirts

On March 28, Bungie will launch the Age of Triumph, an event that they’re describing as a celebration of all things Destiny. In addition to updating old raids for current light levels (390), the Age of Triumph will come with a massive 13-page record-book full of tough achievements. Beat enough of them to hit “rank 7″ and you’ll get a t-shirt. Advertisement Yes, this is Destiny, a video game in which players travel through space for thousands of hours just to get a t-shirt. It’ll come with your PSN/XBL name and everything. Bungie is also adding weekly featured raids, which will add new challenges and rewards to Vault of Glass, Crota’s End, King’s Fall, and Wrath of the Machine. Once each raid is featured, you’ll be able to play it at light level 390 from that point onward. (They’re starting with Crota’s End, then Vault of Glass, then King’s Fall, then Wrath.)
