Warhammer: The End Times – Vermintide is set to receive the Karak Azgaraz DLC next Thursday, March 23, which brings with it new missions and trophies. Karak Azgaraz is set on the peaks of Grey Mountains and tasks players with three missions to foil “the vile rat-men’s plans.” “The wretched Skaven army plots to overrun the Dwarven fortress and settlements around Karak Azgaraz, and our heroes must warn them before it’s too late!” says developer Fatshark. Community Manager Leo Wakeline further wrote: You will have a chance to acquire the Warpick for Bardin, our spirited Dwarf Ranger, and the Falchion for Victor, our ever critical Witch Hunter. The Warpick introduces a new two-step heavy attack that allows Bardin to lunge forward towards his enemy for a heavy swing. The Falchion is in turn an especially sharp, one-sided sword that is excellent at beheading Stormvermin. The DLC comes with eight new trophies including three Silver and five Bronze. You can find the full list here. Those who don’t own the base game can now get it alongside the DLC by purchasing the Digital Value Pack. For more details, follow the link below. While I have no doubt that it excels on PC, and the glowing Steam reviews definitely suggest that, it does not translate well to the console. As a Warhammer fan, I’m always excited to play Warhammer games on console, since they are far and few between. I think the only Warhammer game that would be a bigger mess to port to console would be the Dawn of War series, which should firmly stay on PC. The next time Fatshark decides that they do want to port a co-op only game to the console, they need to consider an AI option and better voice chat. Overrun With R.O.U.S. It’s the end of the world in Vermintide, and the city of Ubersreik is teeming to the brim with Skaven—rodents of unusual size. The player’s job is to team up with three other heroes and clean out the region of this tide of vermin. Perhaps it does just delay the inevitable, since this is the End Times, but who wants to meet their end by giant rats? The…
