Halo Wars 2 Open Beta Is Available Now

Halo Wars 2 Open Beta Has Begun Much to fans delight, Halo Wars 2 went gold earlier this week, and now players have a chance to play the game before it launches next month!  An open beta for Halo Wars 2 is available now on Xbox One and Windows 10. Best news of all? The beta is on from now until January 30th! The download is approximately 12GB on PC and 10GB on Xbox One, offering a brand new game mode, that was made specifically for the Halo Wars sequel. The game mode is called Blitz, which offers a unique take on the RTS gameplay, combining deck building and card-based strategy with tactical combat, all within the Halo universe. In the words of the creator strategy is what the game is all about, from beginning to end. “Your card deck, along with your faction leader, are your greatest resources as you assemble a collection of air, ground and infantry units and seek to out-think and out-maneuver your opponents on the battlefield.”  Blitz is a PvP game mode that can be played in three different ways: 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3.
