Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Review – The Final Taste Before KH III

Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue Review I am a huge Kingdom Hearts fan, and as I write this review, I can tell you right now that it’s going to be nitpicky. Although I may have criticisms of Kingdom Hearts 2.8, know that it’s because I expect 10/10 from this series, and Kingdom Hearts I, II, and Birth By sleep are full 10s to me. The reason I’m writing this is because, while I may have complaints about this collection, it is, at its base, a near perfect action RPG. Now that I’ve got that little disclaimer out of the way, let’s get to this package. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is similar in its build to the two PS3 Kingdom Hearts HD packages; you get a main game (Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance), a secondary game (Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage), and cinematics from a game not as necessary to play, but for the player that wants every bit of the story, they’re remastered and on the disc (Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover). And all of the games have ludicrous titles. These entries into Kingdom Hearts are definitely only for…

These Are the Games You Should Be Checking Out in January

January 2017 is here which means that it’s time to look forward to a new crop of fresh games! Typically, January is a slow month for new game releases. However, this year will offer gamers a good selection of titles to try out, especially if they are fans of Japanese games. Even though there aren’t a lot of titles dropping this month, there is still a decent amount of variety to be found. [embedded content] Resident Evil 7 Platforms: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PCRelease date: January 20 Easily the most high-profile release of January, Capcom’s popular zombie-slaying franchise is reborn as a modern first person horror game. After Resident Evil 4 completely changed the familiar formula of the first three games, the series had grown stale. Now, Resident Evil 7 is aiming to reinvigorate the franchise in much the same way. Considering how Resident Evil had lost its way over the years, this hard reset is not only welcome but necessary. On top of reanimating and updating the classic survival horror franchise, Resident Evil 7 may serve as the last hope for mainstream virtual reality gaming. Its position of being the first full-length AAA VR experience could bring in a…

Since there isn’t anything scheduled to release on PlayStation 3 in January, we haven’t included the category this time around.
