GTA Online Gets the “Massive” Gunrunning Update in June

Calling it a “massive new update” where the Southern San Andreas’ illegal weapons trafficking industry rises to the surface, Rockstar Games has announced that the Gunrunning update for Grand Theft Auto Online will arrive in June. Here’s what Rockstar had to say about the Gunrunning update: Dotted throughout Blaine County are hatches – look into these mysterious properties on the Maze Bank Foreclosure site and you’ll find sprawling underground headquarters for sale, ready to be stocked with new military grade vehicles and weapons manufacturing equipment capable of developing highly sought after offensive and defensive technologies. As the residents of Los Santos know, the only thing more fun than crime is profit and should you choose to invest in this new business, some extremely shady customers are ready to pay top dollar for what you can deliver. Expect details on the business and research opportunities, full-service Mobile Operation Centers complete with new weapon upgrades and deep customization, all new Weaponized Vehicles, and more included in Gunrunning soon. As announced earlier this week, Grand Theft Auto V has reached 80 million copies sold since launch in 2013. [Source: Rockstar Games] READ FULL STORY AT PLAYSTATIONLIFESTYLE!

Take-Two CEO: Red Dead Redemption 2’s Launch Window Doesn’t Really Matter

During Take-Two’s recent earnings call, CEO Strauss Zelnick was asked if he thought there was something about Red Dead Redemption 2 that would make it better for a summer launch versus a winter one. In response, Zelnick said he doesn’t think it really matters when Red Dead Redemption 2 comes out, as people consume entertainment year-round: For a title like this, I don’t think the launch window really matters. And obviously, Red Dead Redemption went out in May and was an extraordinarily successful title. Consumers are consuming entertainment year round. Now they don’t stop in the summer months. And we believe that if you give people an extraordinary experience, they will show up for it. Zelnick also addressed the decision to delay Red Dead Redemption 2 from fall 2017 to spring 2018, which he says was due to ensuring it was the best experience possible, and not because there have been issues during development: I think the purpose of the delay for Red Dead Redemption 2 is to make sure that we deliver the most extraordinary experience we’re capable of providing. We haven’t gone into particular issues. We are building a new game from the ground up for the first time for new READ FULL STORY AT…

Red Dead Redemption 2 Delayed to Spring 2018

With Take-Two set to release their fiscal year 2017 report early tomorrow morning, Rockstar Games has announced that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been delayed from fall 2017 to spring 2018. As Rockstar explained on their website, Red Dead Redemption 2 is the first game they’ve built from the ground up for the latest generation of consoles, some extra time is needed to deliver the best possible experience, and more game details are coming this summer: This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans. We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. Mafia III Video Review – Yeah You Right! Mob Life in New Bordeaux

Mafia III Video Review Mafia III is a game that had a fair amount of hype and expectation behind it as it surged forward towards its release. The big question is whether or not it lives up to the hype that came with it. While Mafia III stands tall in terms of narrative and combat it suffers some performance issues along the way. Michael Chow took on review duties and you can read his written review here or just follow along in our handy dandy, no reading required video! You take on the role of Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam veteran returning home to New Orleans and the only family he has known, the local black mob. After a series of events ending with a betrayal by the city’s Italian mob, it is up to Lincoln Clay to exact some sweet, sweet revenge. The story is presented in an excellent manner and really draws the player into the game. The game also depicts the time period’s racism to the point where a disclaimer was provided to player’s before the game begins. Michael summed up his experience with Mafia III saying, “All in all, Mafia III is a good game. While there are some glaring issues…
