The Division Expansion II: Survival Public Test Now Available

The Division Expansion II: Survival Public Test Now Live Today, Ubisoft announced that a new Public Test Server (PTS) is now available for Windows PC players to join until November 13. The PTS will be used to test Update 1.5 and is available for all Windows PC players. Survival, the second major expansion for Tom Clancy’s The Division, will also be available exclusively for Season Pass owners via the PTS. In this new expansion, players will face extreme conditions after their chopper is taken down by a snowstorm. As Division agents, they have information about a potential cure for the pandemic and they will need to be extracted from the Dark Zone. Finding warm clothes, supplies, food, water and medicine will be vital to their success. However, the environment is not the only danger out there; players must also be aware of 23 other agents and face off against the Hunters, a new mysterious and deadly enemy who is always one step ahead of them. In Survival, players will be able to choose to enable either PvP or PvE. In PvP, while the Rogue mechanic does not apply, agents can fight against or cooperate with other players in every corner…

PS4 Dominates Ubisoft’s Sales Once More in Q2 FY2016-17; Xbox One and PC Follow

Today Ubisoft released its quarterly financial results for the second quarter and first half of fiscal year 2016-2017, ended on September 30th. Like in past quarters, PS4 versions are still on top of the company’s software sales. Xbox One and PC following. Interestingly, Xbox One versions of Ubisoft’s games overtook PC version compared to the first quarter of the current fiscal year, where PS4, Xbox One and PC were at 31%, 23% and 26% respectively. The company also released a breakdown of sales by region: The press release accompanying the announcement included a detailed explanation of the quarterly results, including the mention that The Crew, The Division and Rainbow Six Siege both have over ten million registered users: Sales for the first half of 2016-17 came to €281.4 million, up 35.7% (or 37.1% at constant exchange rates) compared with the €207.3 million recorded for first-half 2015-16. Sales in the second quarter of 2016-17 totaled €142.2 million versus €110.7 million in the corresponding prior-year period, representing an increase of 28.5% (or 28.8% at constant exchange rates). New Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Trailer Teases Operation Red Crow Japan DLC

Today Ubisoft released a new trailer of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, giving a glimpse on the upcoming DLC Operation Red Crow. The DLC will also bring the fourth post-launch free map, set on top of a skyscraper  high above the streets of Nagoya, Japan.
