10 Best Video Game Dads

One of the most important (and rewarding) things a man can do is be a good father to their children. While it’s a very difficult task, and one that many fail at, there are countless examples of good parenting out there. Father’s Day, which just so happens to be today in many countries (as the holiday originated from St. Joseph’s Day), exists in order to celebrate those good examples, and we’d like to thank all of the hard working parents that visit the site. In order to celebrate Father’s Day in our own way, we decided to take a look at some of the best gaming dads. While I’m not sure parents should be taking parenting tips from these father figures, they are rather entertaining in their own right. Only two rules were in place: A) Since we’re a PlayStation site the video game dads had to appear on a PlayStation console at some point and B) Every character has to be a dad (although that should be pretty obvious). With that out of the way, check out our list below of the 10 best video game dads! We hope you enjoyed our look at the 10 best video game dads. While we only READ…

Uncharted 4 Update 1.21 Is Live, Here’s the Patch Notes

With Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End update 1.21 today for PlayStation 4, Naughty Dog has made King of the Hill a permanent game mode, added Savage Starlight skins for select characters, included a Personal Stats Page, and more. Now featuring leaderboards, Cinema Replay support, and Challenges, the King of the Hill mode also includes some changes from its debut in the Beta Test Playlist. For starters, after reaching the 200 Victory Points score limit, teams must capture a final hill, called the Victory Hill. Here’s the other changes to expect from King of the Hill: Victory Points per hill increased from 60 to 80 KO’ing defenders will award the attacking team 4 Victory Points If a defender is KO’d within the first five seconds after capturing a hill, they will respawn When a team reaches the max Victory Points, they must capture one more hill (known as Victory Hill) to win the match UI revamped to better communicate game rules and readability Duration for Wrath of El Dorado reduced by 50% in this mode; Wrath is still quite powerful but this allows other Mysticals to play a prominent role too And here’s everything else included in Uncharted 4 update 1.21 today: General Added a new READ FULL STORY AT…

Uncharted 4 Update 1.21 on Friday Brings Savage Starlight Skins, King of the Hill

On Friday, March 17, Naughty Dog will release Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End update 1.21, which makes King of the Hill a permanent game mode, adds new vanity items and three new weapons (the INSAS and Type-95 long guns, and a scoped Krivosk-XS pistol), and makes Savage Starlight skins (inspired by the comics seen in The Last of Us) available for select characters. Here’s what you can expect from King of the Hill: It tasks two teams with fighting for control of rotating capture points in order to reach the score limit. King of the Hill requires careful coordination and skilled use of Multiplayer’s core combat and movement systems. However, even if victory seems assured, King of the Hill offers a unique twist – after the score limit has been reached, the losing team has one last chance to make a comeback through what we call the Victory Hill. The leading team must capture the Victory Hill to win, but if the losing team takes it, they get a second chance at glory. More update 1.21 details will be revealed when it goes live on Friday. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Will Include Access to Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer

Continuing their month-long coverage, Game Informer has revealed that the antagonist in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is Asav, an insurgent rebel leader who previously worked for the government and is now searching for culturally significant treasures. The reason Chloe Frazier hires Nadine Ross is because of her history with Asav. Creative Director Shaun Escayg says, “[Asav] has history with the government, he feels left out in solving the conflicts the government solved at one point and he’s now a lone rebel trying to create war and profit from it.” In addition to rope swinging and puzzle-solving, The Lost Legacy will include more stealth options (you can equip a silent pistol) and a lock-picking mini-game (shown in the trailer), and Nadine can mark enemies for you and help you out in combat. While in the jeep, it’s possible to drive past enemies and avoid conflict. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is longer than The Last of Us: Left Behind, but shorter than Uncharted 4. Set in the Western Ghats, a rural mountain range in India they travel through by jeep, The Lost Legacy includes the biggest level in the entire franchise.
